Ordinary network cable refers to the super Cat5 Cat6 single-strand network cables frequently used in network engineering. Such network cables are not suitable for use in elevator monitoring network transmission projects. Ordinary network cable sheath is usually not as thick as the elevator cable, because the non-elevator wiring environment does not require a very strong tensile force. The monitoring wiring project in the elevator must be considered in the elevator application. There is a way to wear the tube that is different from the fixed point monitoring.

However, the characteristics of the ordinary network cable are not suitable for the accompanying cable, the transmission distance cannot meet the lifting range of the elevator, and the elevator monitoring cable has high requirements for the tensile performance, so the general elevator monitoring cable has double wires inside, so that the elevator is When moving up and down, the elevator video cable can have enough tensile strength to support. The inside of the ordinary network cable has no steel wire, and the outer skin is relatively thin.
The internal copper core of the ordinary network cable is basically single-stranded (except for computer jumpers), and the internal copper core of the elevator network cable is multi-strand, and the multi-strand copper core can increase the flexibility of the cable itself, in wiring and operation. In the process, it is more tough than a single-strand network cable, and the core is not easy to break.
The specifications of the elevator wire are usually divided into:
1. Unshielded/shielded double steel wire oxygen-free copper elevator line.
2, unshielded / shielded with power line double wire oxygen-free copper elevator line.
The elevator line with power cord is convenient for wiring and saves space. It is not necessary to re-arrange the power cable, the elevator cable and the power cable are used for one-time wiring, which reduces the material cost of the independent power cable and the network cable, and reduces the cost of wiring construction.
