Highest data transfer speed

The HDMI cable is an abbreviation for High-Definition Multimedia Interface Cable, which enables high-quality transmission of uncompressed high-definition video and multi-channel audio data with a maximum data transmission speed of 5 Gbps. At the same time, it is not necessary to perform digital/analog or analog/digital conversion before signal transmission, which can guarantee the highest quality video signal transmission.

The HDMI line supports data transmission rates of 5Gbps and can transmit up to 30 meters, enough to handle one 1080p video and one 8-channel audio signal. Because the demand for a 1080p video and an 8-channel audio signal is less than 4 GB/s, the HDMI cable has a large margin. This allows it to use one cable to connect the DVD player, receiver and PRR, respectively. In addition, HDMI supports EDID, DDC2B, so HDMI-equipped devices have "plug-and-play" features, and the signal source and the display device will automatically "negotiate" and automatically select the most suitable video/audio format.

Each type of interface consists of a socket for the device end and a plug for the wire end, which is driven with a low voltage of 5V and has an impedance of 100 ohms. All three types of plugs can provide reliable TMDS connections. Type A is the standard 19-pin HDMI interface with the highest penetration rate. The Type B interface is slightly larger but has 29 pins and can provide dual TMDS transmission channels. Higher data rates and Dual-Link DVI connections. The C-type interface and A-type interface have the same performance, but the smaller size makes them more suitable for compact portable devices. Type D is the latest one interface mode. Mainly used in mobile phones.
