AV Cable: The oldest video cable that transmits analog video signals. Both ends are Lotus heads (RCA heads). DVD players and TV sets have such interfaces.
S-Video Cable：The video cable is better than the AV cable in the past few years, the interface is round, similar to the PS2 mouse connector;
Trichromatic Cable: A video cable with better quality than the S-terminal cable, which transmits analog signals, should be the best video cable in the analog signal. Newest DVD players, high-end TVs, and home projectors will have this interface. It clude VGA interface, HDMI interface and DVI interface.
It is also an analog signal video cable, which is most common in computers. Its signal has its own advantages compared with the color difference line. However, as the amount of video data increases, for example, to transmit a 1920X1080P video signal in the future, the redundancy of the color difference line will be greater. After the resolution exceeds 1600X1200, the VGA cable’s quality is slightly shorter, and the length is slightly longer, which will cause snowflakes. Why do home theaters mention VGA cables? That's because HTPCs go into home theaters, and all projectors have a VGA port.
Ultra Slim SVGA Super VGA Monitor Extension Cable
Full name Digital Visual Interface, the latest digital video cable, transmits all digital signals in uncompressed technology, the maximum transmission speed is 8Gbps, has been supported by most manufacturers of digital video signal cables, the interface transmission speed is up to 8Gbps, its interface has 24+1 (DVI-D), 24+5 (DVI-I) type, DVI-I supports simultaneous transmission of digital (DVI-D) and analog signals (VGA signal). Generally speaking, HTPC graphics card is generally DVI-I interface, and LCD monitor, DVI-D interface on the projector. DVI-I interface is compatible with DVI-D interface, but DVI-I plug can not insert DVI-D interface.
DVI 24+1 Male To Female Dual Link Cable
Full name Hi-Definition Multimedia Interface, digital video cable updated than DVI, full digital signal transmission without compression technology, the maximum transmission speed is 3.95Gbps, HDMI in addition to transmitting video, also supports eight-channel 96kHz or mono 192kHz digital Audio transmission, not enough devices to support HDMI. Its interface can be converted to DVI interface (video signal part)
