It seems that Cat5e RJ45 crystal heads and Cat6 RJ45 crystal heads seem to be no different. Some customers have asked the Starte staff, can the two crystal heads be universal? In fact, the construction inside them is different.

Although the size specifications of the two crystal heads are the same, the eight contacts (metal pieces) in Cat6 RJ45 crystal heads are staggered up and down into two rows, and the eight contacts in Cat5e RJ45 crystal heads are in a same line.
The Cat5e able are relatively thin in copper core, about 0.45-0.51mm; the copper core of Cat6 cable is relatively thick, about 0.52-0.58mm. This directly led to the difference in the internal structure of the two crystal heads.

The network cable crystal head has two unified standard connections in the world: TIA/EIA 568A and TIA/EIA568B.
568A standard: green white, green, orange white, blue, blue and white, orange, brown, brown
568B standard: orange white, orange, green white, blue, blue white, green, brown, brown
The transmission rate of Category 6 wire is 1000M/S, while the transmission rate of Category 5 wire is 100M/S. This mainly depends on whether the router is 100M or Gigabit.
