The Cat5e cable can use Cat6 crystal heads, but they are relatively wasteful; Cat6 network cables can also use Cat5e crystal heads, but some are general, but not completely universal.

Cat5e and Cat6 crystal heads are the same size and can be inserted into the same RJ45 socket/module. Pay attention to the head of the crystal head. You will find that the eight holes are neatly arranged in five categories, and the top and bottom are interlaced in six categories. In some factories, the standard aperture Cat5e crystal heads is 1.02MM, while Cat6 are 1.08MM. If the core wire diameter of the six types of wires is larger than 1.02MM, the Cat5e crystal heads will not be inserted.

Although Cat5e and Cat6 network cables can be used with the crystal head, if Cat5e systems use Cat6 crystal heads, there is no problem at all, but if it is a six-class system, and Cat5e crystal heads are used, it will cause crosstalk NEXT. Bad, affecting the performance of the entire system.
